Situations

We face so many obstacles in life from peer pressure, heartbreak, being lied to, cheated or stolen from, and even death. Don’t ever feel like you are alone in this world because we are a hurting people. People tend to hurt each other from time to time but there is one person that will never let us down. The Almighty Father above.

And even though you may be a Christian or not, we all deal with situations in life regardless. It is easy to think, ”..nobody understands what I’m going through..” or”..you haven’t been through what I’ve dealt with in life.” Well, maybe you’re right. Maybe nobody has been in the exact situation you have been through but that does not give you the excuse to keep it to yourself. That’s why we have each other, to carry each other’s burdens. Why try dealing with something alone when you can have someone help you through it? Why make it harder on yourself?

I know I could tell you right now this, that God will never leave us nor forsake us, that He will be with us always. <—-= (Don’t get me wrong. This is so very true.) But telling you this can be a bit too easy. I believe actually working together to make life better, carrying each others burdens, showing unconditional love regardless of any situation, is also very important. As Christians, we should be leading our fellow brothers and sisters, as well as non-believers, to Christ through the example of unconditional love so non-believers can understand and the children of God will have greater understanding of the Father when He means what He says. I will never leave you nor forsake you. <3

Joshua 1:9

Joshua 1:9 - “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Before I fell asleep on the sofa, I had written the last blog I posted on Tumblr. After I posted it, I went to grab my bible and wanted to read something simple, that God would just show me a Word from Him that I could apply to my life.

“To know the will of God, read the bible..”

When I read this verse, it hit me right at home. This verse reminds me of a father telling his child to not be afraid, that he is right there by their side, even if they may be right or wrong. The father has unconditional love for his child. And as father loves his child unconditionally, so does our Father in heaven loves me and you and everyone else.

God didn’t just tell us though to be strong and courageous. Joshua 1:9 clearly states that He commands us to be strong and courageous. With the Holy Spirit living inside of you, you can be strong and face those fears of doubt, rejection, loneliness, and so forth.

Even if you may not be in a great part of life right now, God, our Father, will never leave nor forsake us. He is true to His promises and the words He speaks. You are a child of the Father.

”..To do the will of God, do the bible.”

This is so true. <33

His Love Endures Forever, Amen <3

If I told you what I dealt with, I could hear you say “he doesn’t have the spirit of God living in Him” or “we’re just all sinners” but here’s the thing. We all have something we deal with. Do you decide to deal with it and dying to your flesh, renew your mind to His living word, and walk in the newness with His presence, or ignore those things and go through life normal as anyone else. To be honest, I have chosen within some time to just do my own thing and go through life, dealing with whatever I feel is an issue myself. Here’s the great thing about God. Even though I decided to do whatever I pleased, His spirit has never left me alone in my life. The thought of Him never leaving me showed me such security. His love truly endures forever.

To anyone that never talks to me anymore or says, “hey, we never talk.. you never call me anymore”, my response is usually “The phone works both ways.” The great thing about this is that God has always called me and talked to me and even provided for me, even if I cared or not. And I’ve heard Him and have talked with Him, even if I am in a bad state or maybe doing the wrong thing, regardless if I know its wrong or not. It’s so amazing that not only is He a full, 100% real God, He is my Father, no matter what happens.

Sometimes I cannot see You’re holding me and my deepest needs. Your eyes see because You love me. Nothing escapes You.

Knowing that God loves me this much just blows me away.

But knowing something and believing something is two different things. Blake and I had a discussion about this. It started with how do I begin to know the will of God? And it is by reading His word and through prayer & fasting.

He told me this quote: “To know the will of God, read the bible. To do the will of God, do the bible.”

^ I believe that quote just speaks for itself. <3

So if we don’t read the bible, how will we know the will of God? And how will we live the will of God if we don’t do the bible? Gets you thinking how much you truly believe in Him.

We also talked about how we hold ourselves back from certain things we feel like we should do. Paul tells Timothy so many times “fear not”. A lot of times, we are fearful of what we know what we should do so we stick to what we know and don’t worry about actually believing, which means doing the bible. Then from time to time, we try to cover up the fear instead of using courage and taking that step of faith.

^ Through this, God showed me that I have always had trouble with being completely honest from time to time. All my life being raised around being half-truthful or just making up a bunch of bull has been what I’m use to. Once I realize I had this fear of being honest, it made me want to give it to God. I want this to change. I want to face this fear with Him, to become the person I was meant to be, for His will.

Philippians 4:13 - I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.
